The North Shore of Oahu is world-famous for its pristine beaches and legendary surf breaks. Stretching from Kaʻena Point to Kahuku, this region is known for its natural beauty and a slower pace of life compared to the urban centers of Oahu.
The North Shore’s main town, Haleʻiwa, serves as the area’s historic and commercial hub, featuring local boutiques, art galleries, and renowned eateries while maintaining its plantation-era charm. Just outside Haleʻiwa, Waialua offers an agricultural setting with a mix of farms and residential properties.
Further along the coast, Pūpūkea, Sunset Beach, and Ehukai (Pipeline) are famous for their big-wave surf competitions and beachfront estates, while Mokulēʻia and Kaʻena Point provide more secluded, scenic oceanfront living. Kahuku and Laʻie, located at the northeastern tip, feature a mix of agricultural lands, resort communities, and cultural landmarks like the Polynesian Cultural Center and Turtle Bay Resort.
With its stunning coastline and limited commercial development, the North Shore remains one of the untouched regions of Oahu.
